Our founder's love and appreciation for intrinsic flavours and aromas, began with extensive culinary training, 25 years ago, in Edinburgh, Scotland. This eventually took her all over the world and during these travels she became enraptured and bewitched by the allure of scent and the exotic potency of plants.
All Penny Frances skincare potions are handmade from our small heritage studio in Vancouver, British Columbia. Each comprises the highest quality organic (where stated), wildcrafted ingredients, meticulously and sustainably sourced from artisan producers in North America and Worldwide.
All Penny Frances formulations are our own, and each product is poured into beautiful, violet glass to ensure freshness and ultra potency.
*The appreciation of the unique protective qualities of violet glass can be traced back to ancient Egyptian culture. In those times, valuable essences, oils, and natural healing products were kept either in gold or in violet glass vessels.
Violet glass is the only glass that offers exceptional protection, assuring that the smell, colour, bioenergy, and the product's botanical properties, remain preserved longer.
Tests have shown that products stored in violet glass keep their distinctive qualities for extended periods, sometimes even for years. The sooner a product is consumed, the better, as it will still benefit from the energetic enhancing properties of beautiful violet glass.
